Valor students in use playlists to review and extend their learning in their math review class, which is supplemented by differentiated instruction as well.

Valor Collegiate Academies primarily uses the Flex model for blended learning, where a “online learning is the backbone of student learning, even if it directs students to offline activities at times. Students move on an individually customized, fluid schedule among learning modalities” (Christensen Institute). In the Content Focus Math Class, each student works through structured playlists at their own pace. Teachers monitor student progress and provide quick individual support in class, as well as small group instruction for students working on the same skill.
