At West Belden, structures and expectations allow students to move on only when a skill has been mastered.

West Belden has adopted structures and expectations to support mastery-based pacing at the individual level. Learning is not time-based, so students do not move on simply because a certain amount of time has passed. Assessments are given when students are ready and students move on once a skill has been mastered.
