Specific tools used to guide reflection on content consistency and quality
Explore how Liberty Public Schools provide a number of resources to help content teams curate and reflect on OER content.
At Liberty Public Schools, located in suburban Missouri, if a content team decides to focus on curating its own content instead of purchasing traditional content, the team spends the first year focused on building essential standards. During the second year, the district supports the content team to come together monthly, quarterly, and every semester to reflect and review units that have been produced and to make any updates they think are necessary to ensure relevance and rigor.
District administrators find that this allows teachers to constantly think about their practice and reflect on content and assess areas where they need additional support.
