Facilitating the sharing of the current state of evidence about blended learning effectiveness

In order for what we know to benefit students, we must share and consume knowledge about what works in blended learning in multiple forms and fora.

The goal of unifying the evidence and implementation cycles is ensuring that all students gain access to evidence-based practices. This can happen through building awareness of evidence-based practices among educators, decision-makers, funders, and members of the community and industry.

All stakeholders should disseminate, share, and seek out findings faster and in new ways. They also need to improve communication and develop a shared language so that they can share understanding of which practices are supported by evidence. If the two cycles are connected, we can create spaces for conducting studies and sharing findings openly without fear of being labeled “failures.”
