Nyree Copeland-Whyte

Nyree Copeland-Whyte is the Director of Digital Learning for Achievement First, a growing network of non-profit, high-performing, college-preparatory K-12 public charter schools in Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island. In her 11 years at Achievement First, Nyree has founded two of their schools, Achievement First Hartford Elementary and Achievement First Bridgeport Elementary, and has been developing the personalized learning work for its K-12 curriculum to support 13,300 students. Nyree has over 20 years of experience in education from New York City public schools and community-based education programs. Nyree holds a master’s degree in education from Lehman College and is a graduate from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
