Mastery is assessed in three ways, one of which is a demonstration recorded on an iPad.
Students must demonstrate readiness for formal mastery assessment by first showing readiness through informal program assessments and a mastery demonstration.
Students are responsible for updating their mastery scores in their learning agendas, which increases ownership, improves update speed, and relieves the teacher of that task.
Each student’s current mastery score for any learning objective is visible to the class.
