Teachers use the Summit PLP to create authentic projects that deepen student learning and allow for the development of cognitive skills and conceptual knowledge.
Students who are ready for an assessment write their name and the title of the assessment on the board.

Students have one-on-one weekly meetings with their mentor teachers to articulate long and short term goals, and measure progress in meeting those goals.
Students can choose to take a diagnostic assessment prior to tackling a topic. If they show mastery, they can move on to another topic.
Pleasant View Elementary School uses a variety of software programs to plan instruction, asses and track progress, and personalize instruction.
Pleasant View Elementary students participate in multi-age, project-based enrichment classes every Friday.
