Multiple structures have been created to allow Learners who are behind pace to catch up.

Facilitators create capacity matrices, which help Learners understand what they need to do and how quickly they are expected to do it for a given standard or unit.

While Learners must master all standards, teachers identify “power standards” to help Learners focus on those they think are most important.

As many Learners at Lindsay Unified School District and within Lindsay High School are English language learners, Facilitators adapt personalized structures to support English language development.

Learners are able to choose from multiple learning resources for each content module/unit.

Learners electing to demonstrate advanced mastery can often choose how to do so.

While all Learners must show proficiency (a level 3), they can elect to demonstrate deeper mastery by aiming for level 4.

Learners have twice-weekly Personalized Learning Time (PLT).
