Lindsay High School uses a variety of software programs to plan instruction, assess and track progress, and personalize instruction.
Learning Facilitators provide daily whole group instruction for introduction of commonly needed skills or review topics.
Learners in Lindsay High School English courses are able to simultaneously work through two “grade levels” of content in a single year.
LPS uses multiple online platforms for learning that have their own built in skill assessments. Students can choose which platforms they want to use.
While Navigate Math allows students to move with mastery, quizzes address some cumulative knowledge to assess retention.
Students meet with the teacher weekly to discuss progress, set goals, and develop action plans.
Students choose what they’re learning, when they’re learning, and what they want to focus on each day.
Teacher is able to see what every student is working on each day and can pull students working on similar learning objectives into groups as appropriate.
Students can access additional learning resources and teammates for help.
